How to prepare your wall
Smooth the surface
Ensure that the wall is free from loose wallpaper, flaking paint, dust, grease, or residue that could interfere with adhesion. Remove any nails, hooks, or screws, and carefully fill all holes and cracks. If the wall is uneven due to inherent texture, applying a skim coat or wallpaper primer is recommended to level the surface.
Gently sand the surface until it is completely smooth and even. If existing wallpaper has overlapping seams, trim these back to create a flat, even base.

Clean and dry the surface
Clean the wall thoroughly with a sponge using warm water mixed with a mild soap or a cleaning agent designed for paint preparation. Allow the surface to dry for at least 24 hours before continuing to hang your wallpaper. Ensure that no areas swell when damp or contract unevenly once dry.
Before application, switch off the electricity and remove the covers from all sockets and switches.

Color the surface
If the existing wall is painted in a dark tone or features a strong pattern, we recommend repainting it in a light, neutral color. This prevents the underlying surface from showing through at panel edges and ensures a premium feeling with a clean, uniform appearance.
NOTE: Depending on the paint type, curing can take up to 4-6 weeks.
A premium wallpaper application begins long before the first panel is hung. Proper wall preparation ensures that your wallpaper is presented exactly as intended: smooth, balanced, and able to tell its full story. The level of preparation required depends on the condition of your existing walls.
Before hanging your wallpaper, the surface must be clean, flat, and completely dry. Walls that are already in excellent condition require little more than a careful, considered cleaning. Surfaces with more texture, however, demand additional attention.
